The Foundation
The Klingendes Museum is managed by the Stiftung Instrumentensammlung Burri (founded September 15th, 2014). The foundation has been established with the aim to save this important cultural heritage in Bern. It is funded by private donations and by cultural foundations. The Bern University of the Arts, Research Institute Interpretation, is a partner of the foundation and is supporting it with staff.
We are a member of Museumspass, KulturLegi, Verband der Museen der Schweiz VMS, Museen Bern, Verein der Museen im Kanton Bern mmBE, the world association of music museums CIMCIM, Gesellschaft der Freunde alter Musikinstrumente GEFAM, Bern Welcome and of Kramgassleist.
"KLINGENDE SAMMLUNG" and "KLINGENDES MUSEUM" are registred and protected brand names.
